The purpose of this document is to assist certified operators, weVegan partners, and approved third parties in meeting the minimum requirements for using the weVegan certification mark.
The rules may be subject to change.
The rules in this document are not intended to conflict with or replace any local or international legal
requirements.
The certification mark of weVegan is owned by JS Science.
Purpose
weVegan strictly prohibits the use of this content including copying, modifying, distributing, or republishing without prior written agreement.
- Consistent visual and textual recognition for the product.
- Continued use in other media (external product communications).
The use of certification marks is only permitted within the strict certification scope verified by weVegan.
Thus, a valid weVegan certification is required.
This mark can be used in the following media.
Legal action
JS SCIENCE reserve the right to take legal action for counterfeiting, both civilly and criminally, regarding infringement on the registered weVegan trademark logo or image.
When written notice is delivered, the following may be required.
- Request for corrective action
- The right to use is suspended until compliance with the regulations.
- Withdrawal of the usage rights for a certain period.
- Recall identified products for disposal or modification.
- Permanent exclusion

Certification Mark Greed
- When utilizing colors, precise standard colors should be applied, and the principle is to use white and black, considering the application conditions.
- When using print media, apply 4-color process (CMYK) or Pantone colors.
- When applying digital media and online screens, use RGB or HEX colors.
Color
- The green hue of the WeVegan logo reflects the ethical and environmental aspects of the brand values.
- This color evokes the green of plants, which is the most prevalent color in nature.
Protected Area
We reserve the right to take legal action for counterfeiting, both civilly and criminally, regarding infringement on the registered WeVegan trademark logo or image.
- Within the space equivalent to the height of the 'e' in the 'We' of the logo, ensure that no elements such as images or copy encroach.
Minimum Size
The minimum size of the certification mark should be (15mm diagonal length). In all cases, text should be legible to the naked eye.
Maximum Size
The certification mark should not be larger than the product brand logo or operator logo.
It should not cause confusion by being mistaken for a product mark.
Placement on Product
The use of the certification mark is not mandatory.
The placement of the certification mark is at the discretion of the user.
Placement in Other Media
The certification mark may be used in other communication media if used in a manner that does not cause confusion to the buyer.
Product Placement
The certification mark may be used in product placement under the following conditions.
Product Placement Comprised Solely of Certified Products.
Product Placement Comprised Partially of Certified Products.
- Declaration is optional.
Brand legibility
Certification marks should appear on a white, solid color, or transparent background.
If necessary, a white border should be added to ensure good visibility.
Approved Revision
For 4-color printing, the original green may be replaced with the nearest 4-color process color.
Using a black and white version without transparency is also permitted.
All requests regarding color application must receive prior approval from weVegan.
No revisions allowed.
The certification mark must be used in its entirety.
The following are not permitted.
- Distortion of the logo without considering proportions is not allowed.
- Cropping the logo to display only parts of it is not allowed.
- Modifying the color or composition of the logo is not allowed.
- Removing the R or TM from the logo is not allowed.
- Displaying the logo at an angle is not allowed.
