ISO 16128 Certification for natural and organic cosmetic raw material & cosmetic products
About
ISO 16128 is a "guideline on the definitions and standards for natural and organic cosmetic ingredients and products" published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
It is only applied to the cosmetic field and consists of the definitions of raw materials for natural and organic cosmetics (Part 1) and the standards for raw materials and products (Part 2).

Certification Process
- Valid period of the certificate: 1 year
- The certificate is renewed each year after the final audit
- Certificate of conformity is issued for each product. Each product must go through the certification process separately
- The product name and the content (%) of natural and organic ingredients are listed on the certificate of conformity.
Certification Requirements
- Selection of products for certification
- Product standard (including manufacturing process chart, and raw materials component)
- Manufacturing process chart of each raw material used in the product
- Data on each raw material
- Other necessary materials
