To promote the sustainable development, production, and consumption processes of organic and natural cosmetics, COSMOS is a certification standard for organic and natural cosmetics developed by the United Nations Natural Cosmetics Association, which is mainly focused on Europe.

COSMOS aims to protect human health and the environment in all processes, from raw material production to finished product distribution, and manufacture products in a safe and clean environment according to international standards.

As of now, more than 21,000 products in 60 countries around the world have received COSMOS ORGANIC or COSMOS NATURAL certification, and more than 16,000 cosmetic ingredients have been certified organic and natural.
